Apr\u00e8s le lyc\u00e9e, elle a v\u00e9cu en Isra\u00ebl de 1965 \u00e0 1976 o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l&rsquo;ergoth\u00e9rapie. Les quatre ann\u00e9es suivantes, elle a pass\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris et, en 1981, elle s&rsquo;est install\u00e9e en Suisse avec ses deux enfants. Son p\u00e8re a cr\u00e9\u00e9 le premier cabinet m\u00e9dical priv\u00e9 pour les Africains noirs \u00e0 Bulawayo. D\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge, Dessa re\u00e7oit des le\u00e7ons de ballet et de piano, ce dernier jouant un r\u00f4le central dans son art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son dipl\u00f4me d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes secondaires, elle a v\u00e9cu en Isra\u00ebl de 1965 \u00e0 1976, o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l&rsquo;ergoth\u00e9rapie. Sa production cr\u00e9ative refl\u00e8te sa diversit\u00e9 culturelle, tant dans le choix de ses sujets (\u00e0 travers lesquels elle explore son identit\u00e9), que dans les m\u00e9diums et moyens d&rsquo;expression qu&rsquo;elle utilise.
