Transoundart
This is the name I have given to my live improvised “nonverbal conversations” with a musician. It is an instantaneous reception and transformation of energy, from one form to another.
Until now I have done three separate performances: with a violinist, a pianist and a drummer and one performance as a trio with both a pianist and violinist together. The strokes are painted with coloured ink using different paint brushes on paper, on a flat table. A camera films as I create, projecting the images onto a large screen so that the audience can watch and listen to the music at the same time.
